Reasoning & Evidence21 Jul 2026
Tristan Osborne has been the Labour MP for Chatham and Aylesford since the July 2024 general election. Wouldham is a village in Kent, located along the River Medway, and it falls within the "Burham and Wouldham" electoral ward, which is one of the wards composing the Chatham and Aylesford parliamentary constituency. Multiple sources confirm this: the Wikipedia article on the constituency lists "Burham and Wouldham" among its wards; the Boundary Commission for England's documentation for the 2023 review includes this ward under Chatham and Aylesford; and a planning information site explicitly assigns Wouldham's parliamentary constituency as "Chatham and Aylesford." No source contradicts this.

From speech
Q12. May I ask the Prime Minister about our national health service and what better treatments we can offer people suffering from memory loss? A very distressing case was recently brought to my attention by a constituent in Wouldham, a village in my constituency, of a man who could not remember his own words— even though he said them on television—that the NHS should not be funded through general taxation. What can we do to ensure that my constituents in Chatham and Aylesford secure clarity on future Kent and Medway NHS funding, and what can we do to help the leader of Reform UK?
