Claim 2a5778d9
Not RatedPrediction about the future
Not assessed for accuracy.
If you allow banks to be very greedy, they will be very greedy, because that’s human nature.
The main assertion is a future-conditional forecast: if banks are allowed to be very greedy, they will act very greedily. It predicts what would happen under a stated condition, so it is stored as predictive rather than assessed as a factual or causal claim.

From article
If you allow banks to be very greedy, they will be very greedy, because that’s human nature – and to a large extent that is what’s happened. I am not defending the worst excesses of the banking industry at all – no doubt many of those people should be in prison for what they have done. As should the regulators and the politicians that allowed it.
