The claim is supported by Farage’s documented career path. By 2011 he was serving as a UKIP MEP and co-chair of a European Parliament group, and his own biography says he had wound up his business, Farage Futures, in 2002. That makes his statement that he was no longer pursuing the business/money-making course broadly accurate.
